After Thanksgiving three years ago was the first time I recorded and put out a mix of any kind. So I keep it as a tradition to make a new mix every Black Friday every year, here is the result of this year's. This mix I tried to focus less on the hard hitting drum breaks and more on the funkier sides of things -- lots of horn sections, vocals, soul joints, even some newer band material (IE: Quantic Soul Orchestra, etc). This is something I would spin during cyphers. I made this mix this way because it's important to know that everything isn't always about hard breaks, breaks, and more breaks, as long as the sound is kept in perspective you're free to rock it. I recorded this live in one take, enjoy!
