Sorry for the lack of updates, I've gotten really lazy with this lately -- but you can still bet I never let up on the DJ side of things! So hopefully I'll get some more stuff to update this with, working on a few mixes with the homie DJ Basic so definitely got some more projects to hit yall with in the near future. In the meantime, here is the annual mix I do on Thanksgiving. I made it a full length free download this year so enjoy!
90% of this mix is comprised of records that were intended for past mixes (dating to almost 2 years back) but were never used. Whether it was because I didn't have enough time in the mix, it didn't fit in with the rest of the records, or I just changed my mind -- it never made the chopping block. There are a few new joints I recently ran into that I wanted to throw in and a couple of records I want to bring back but play differently, but the concept of this mix is putting together a bunch of leftover records.
The very first Thanksgiving Leftovers mix (2008) was the very solo mix I did and it created for this reason so now I do this every year and offer it out for free downloads.
