I know its been a mad long time since I updated this blog! The last few months have been a little calm, but now that the summer's coming, so are the jams! I'll be rockin in Boston next week for the Floorlords Anniversary, and then the jams continue out here in Florida -- so it's time to get back to work!
But I haven't been just sitting around for a few months chillin, been diggin up a storm so I have a few mixes coming! First and foremost, I linked up with my homie DJ Lean Rock (Horsepower/Floorlords) from Boston and we're gonna do a new bboy breaks mix. We've spun together plenty of times, trade records and all that, so its only natural that we get up and put a mix on some real diehard diggin' ish! The mix should be done and pressed up ready for Battle Of Year / Freestyle Session in August so stay tuned! Below is the preview of both of our parts:
I'm also working on another solo mix for the Dusty & Digital blog (which will be a free download of course) but it'll take a little longer to complete because I'm going a different route on that mix -- but its definitely still in the works! Here's the intro and some of the ideas I'm messing with for this mix:
